This research is a Classroom Action Research that aims to improve the learning process and improve students' Mathematical Reasoning Ability through the application of Problem Based Learning. This research was conducted in two cycles on 35 Junior High School (SMP) students. The learning tools used include teaching modules equipped with Student Worksheets, teaching materials and data collection instruments consisting of observation sheets and students' mathematical reasoning ability test sheets. The process of each cycle of classroom action research consists of planning, action, observation and reflection. The results of the study showed that students' mathematical reasoning ability increased from 68.57% in cycle I to 74.29% in cycle II. In addition, student activity in the learning process is getting better. This shows that the application of problem based learning can improve the learning process and improve junior high school students' mathematical reasoning ability.
