Uji Kompatibilitas Bakteri Selulolitik Potensial Dan Optimasi Pertumbuhan Pada Beberapa Bahan Organik Secara In Vitro
Rice straw, soy litter and empty fruit bunch of palm oil (EFBP) are organic materials that hold the potential to be developed become an organic fertilizer or compost. The decomposition process of the organic materials usually occurs slowly, because the cellulose content in that organic material is quite high. Therefore, it takes a bioactivator as cellulolytic bacteria. The purpose of this research was testing the sixth compatibility of microbial in accelerating the decomposition of organic matter, the bacterial growth at 40oC, 50oC and 60oC and growth optimization on some organic materials in vitro. This research has been conducted at the Laboratory of Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau from March until June 2017. The research method that used an observation method consisted of the test compatibility from potentials cellulolytic bacteria, the bacterial growth at 40oC, 50oC and 60oC and the growth optimum time of bacterial on some organic materials in vitro. Data were analyzed descriptively in the form of tables and figures. The results showed that six potential cellulolytic bacteria were compatible with each other. The test of growth bacteria at 40oC, 50oC and 60oC indicates that the optimum temperature of Proteus mirabilis TKKS7, Proteus mirabilis TKKS3, Bacillus cereus JP6, Bacillus cereus JP7 and Providencia vermicula SA1 were at 50oC, whereas Bacillus cereus SA6 was at 40oC. Optimization of a consortium of cellulolytic bacteria growth on some organic materials indicate that maximum growth occurred on the second day of incubation time.
