Identifikasi Tungau Debu Rumah Di Tempat Tinggal Pasien Dermatitis Atopik Rsud Petala Bumi Pekanbaru
House dust mite have an important role as an allergens in allergic diseases such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, and other atopic diseases. Atopic Dermatitis (AD) is inflammation of the skin with itching, chronic and recurrent symptoms. House dust mites can be a precipitating factor for AD. The objective of this study aims to find out the description of house dust mites in the homes of AD patients at Petala Bumi Hospital in Pekanbaru and find out the description of patient's hygiene behavior that affects the degree of spread of house dust mites. This type of research is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional design. This study was conducted from May to June 2018 at Petala Bumi Pekanbaru Hospital, in the residence of AD patients at Petala Bumi Hospital Pekanbaru and in the Laboratory of Parasitology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Riau. This study involved 30 AD patients at Petala Bumi Pekanbaru Hospital, which are stay in Pekanbaru with consecutive sampling technique. The results of this study showed 100% of AD patients houses in Pekanbaru Petala Bumi Hospital were positive for house dust mites and 63.3% of patients behaved badly in hygiene which affected the degree of house dust mite spread. The conclusions of this study showed that all of AD patients house in Pekanbaru Petala Bumi Hospital was positive for house dust mite and most of the patients behaved badly in hygiene which affected the degree of house dust mite spread.
