ABSTRACT
This final project discusses about making Korean language learning media for Multimedia-based beginners. Multimedia is defined as a combined use of several media in conveying information in the form of text, graphics or animated graphics, movies, videos, and audio. Multimedia can be used as a basis for learning media. One of them is a medium for learning foreign languages such as Korean which is currently in demand by many people. Korean language learning media uses interesting learning methods so that the material presented is easy to understand. The purpose of this Korean language learning media is to help users who are beginners learn Korean. The Korean language learning media that was made focused on learning how to read and pronounce the Korean Hangeul script. The Korean language learning media is made using Adobe Flash CS6 while the design uses a Navigation Structure, namely the Hierarchical Navigation Structure. Application development also utilizes Storyboard and Flowchart designs. The Korean language learning media application makes it easy for users because the application provides material that displays Hangeul, Latin and sound forms to find out how to pronounce Hangeul. The application is equipped with supporting animations to attract user interest. The application is also equipped with evaluation questions as a test of user understanding of the material that has been presented.
