ABSTRACT
The effectiveness of employee performance is the result of work both in quality and quantity that has been achieved by employees in carrying out their duties in accordance with the responsibilities given by the organization. The effectiveness of employee performance assesses the performance of employees in the office whether it is good or not. In Pekanbaru City the number of people who have been confirmed with Covid-19 is quite high, therefore the Pekanbaru City Health Service government continues to accelerate efforts to prevent the spread of the virus. One effort to overcome this is to issue a booster vaccination policy that is useful for achieving a person's herd immunity. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the performance of Health Office employees in administering booster vaccines and to find out the inhibiting factors. This study uses the theory of Sedarmayati which consists of 5 indicators namely, Quality of Work, Punctuality, Initiative, Ability and Communication. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative research method. With data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are that the performance of Health Office employees in administering booster vaccines can be said to be ineffective. This is because there is still a lack of coordination between vaccination officers, the quality of medical personnel is not optimal and the working hours for administering vaccines are lacking.
