ABSTRACT
Siak Regency is one of the tourism areas in Riau, continues to build new tourism objects to support the plan and vision of "Cultural Tourism as the Mainstay/Backbone of Sustainable Development"; One of the tourist objects which is the prima donna of tourists in Siak Regency is the Siak Sri Indrapura Palace which presents a magnificent palace building, having a distinctive Malay design. Even though it is hundreds of years old, it is still in quite good condition with the typical palace interior still being maintained. The problem faced in tourism in Siak Regency is the lack of promotion and the absence of mapping of good destinations. To help overcome the problem the author created a WebGIS-based Mapping Information System for tourist destinations in Siak Regency. It is hoped that this system can be used as a promotion and introduce Siak Regency tourist destinations and can increase tourist visits both local and national.
