The formulation of the problem in this research is 1) What is the strategy used in implementing the DASHAT (Healthy Kitchen to Overcome Stunting) program in empowering the community in the Berkah Bersama Quality Family Village, Pekanbaru City?, 2) What is the Strategy for Implementing the DASHAT (Healthy Kitchen to Overcome Stunting) Program in empowerment Villages in the Quality Family Village with Berkah Together with the City of Pekanbaru), 3) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the DASHAT (Healthy Kitchens Overcoming Stunting) Program in empowering the community in the Quality Family Village with the Community of Pekanbaru City?
This research is a type of research using a qualitative approach. This research was carried out in KB Berkah Bersama Village in Pekanbaru City involving 4 (four) informants as research subjects consisting of 2 (Two) main informants and 2 (Two) supporting informants. The data collection techniques in this research are documentation, observation and interviews. Meanwhile, the analysis techniques in this research are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions.
At the program determination stage, the DASHAT Berkah Gizi program identified and mapped targets and formulated activities as the first step in the program implementation strategy. Next, at the process determination stage, DASHAT Berkah Gizi carries out capacity building, distribution or packaging, information communication and education (KIE) as well as monitoring and evaluation as a follow-up strategy in implementing the DASHAT Berkah Gizi program. Finally, at the budget determination stage which is carried out in the production and packaging strategy, DASHAT Berkah Gizi allocates the program budget well and systematically so that this program is able to achieve the goal of meeting the needs of families at risk of stunting.
This program was implemented to create a long-term impact and become an agent of change in society in following up on the stunting problem. With the activities carried out by the DASHAT Berkah Gizi program, it is able to empower the community and make the community independent through involving active community participation in the quality family village of Berkah Bersama, Pekanbaru City. In this case, DASHAT Berkah Gizi not only provides assistance but also refers to an effective and sustainable community empowerment approach.
