Pengaruh Kelompok Batobo Dan Non Batobo Terhadap Pendapatan Petani Padi Di Desa Teberau Panjang Kecamatan Gunung Toar Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi
ABSTRACT
Rice is one of the main commodities in the agricultural sector that serves as a source
of income for farmers. This study aims to analyze the effect of Batobo an Non-
Batobo group participation on the income of rice farmers in Teberau Panjang
Village, Gunung Toar Sub-District, Kuantan Singingi District. The method used in
this research is a survey with data collection using the Slovin Formula through
purposive sampling, involving 45 Batobo and 45 Non-Batobo farmers. The data
were analyzed using multiple linier regression with independent variables such as
land area, seeds, fertilizer, labor, education, experience, herbicides, and seeds,
while the dependent variable was production yield. The analysis showed that in the
Batobo group, the variables of education and herbicides had a significant effect on
production yield, while other variables did not, as indicated by significance values
< 0,05. In contrast, within the Non-Batobo group, the education variable did not
significantly influence yield, but other variables did. The study results indicated that
the average income of Batobo farmers was Rp 4.753.220/MT/Ha, while the average
income of Non-Batobo farmers was Rp 2.500.707/MT/Ha. The RCR (Revenue Cost
Ratio) of Batobo farmers was 1,51 and that of Non-Batobo farmers was 1,36,
meaning both groups of farmers gained profits (RCR > 1), though Batobo farmers
achieved higher efficiency. The results of the independent sample t-test showed a
significance value (2-tailed) of 0,000 < 0,05, meaning that H0 is rejected and H1 is
accepted, indicating that the income received by Batobo farmers is significantly
higher than that of Non-Batobo farmers.
