Modal Sosial Pokdarwis Dalam Pengelolaan Wisata Ikan Sakti Sungai Janiah Kanagarian Tabek Panjang Kabupaten Agam Sumatera Barat
This research focuses on the social capital of the Sungai Janiah Sakti Fish Tourism Awareness Group in managing local tourism potential. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods to analyze social networks, donations, solidarity, trust, and social norms between communities. University State Padang (UNP) together with Tourism Awareness Group (POKDARWIS) Ikan Sakti Sungai Janiah from 2017 have synergized in providing technology transfer training in tourism development, cultural arts, and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). In addition, the government also continues to provide tax incentives, infrastructure improvements, and tourism promotion. Tourism Awareness Group (POKDARWIS) social capital includes an extensive partnership network, trust between members and the community, and the application of local culture-based social norms. Along with this, there are also barriers such as lack of member discipline, limited resources, poor internet access, and minimal communication with external partners. Other problems include land disputes, intergenerational differences, and poor coordination between (POKDARWIS) and the government in tourism management and development. In general, this can be overcome by exploring existing potential and increasing organizational strengthening by involving various trainings, developing Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), digital promotion, and the role of the younger generation in sustainable cultural conservation and sustainable development of the golden triangle.
