Komposisi Jenis Dan Kepadatan Cacing Tanah Di Perkebunan Jagung Di Desa Tarai Bangun Kabupaten Kampar
Earthworms are one of the macrofauna that are widely found and often found on plantations in Indonesia. However, almost all plantations today use a wide variety of chemicals such as fertilizers and pesticides, which, in addition to the weed- weeding process, can damage the ecosystem of soil animals, which is very important in the decomposition process. This study aims to determine the composition of the types of earthworms found in corn plantations in Tarai Village, Kampar Regency. The method used is to make 15 plots on two areas, and the earthworm sampling technique by hand sorting. Identification was carried out macroscopically by looking at the morphology of earthworms using a magnifying glass. Soil physics and chemical parameters are also observed. Data analysis uses the density formula. The results of the study showed that only one species of earthworm was found, Lumbricus sp. The density values of earthworm populations in areas one and two are 12,35/m3 and 22,22/m3.
