Meminimalisasi Defect Kertas Folio Menggunakan Metode Statical Quality Control (Sqc) Pada Mesin Folio Sheeter A Dan B
ABSTRACT
The Folio Sheeter (FS) machine functions to change paper rolls into folio-sized
sheets of paper. This final project report discusses efforts to "Minimize Folio Paper
Defects Using the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) Method on Folio Sheeter A (FS
A) and Folio Sheeter B (FS B) Machines". The purpose of this study is to identify
the types of defects in paper products, apply SQC to determine standard production
limits, analyze the factors causing defects with a fishbone diagram, and formulate
corrective steps to improve production quality. The data used are secondary data
from the Shift Supervisor (SS) Daily Report, which are analyzed using a Pareto
diagram. The results of the analisisfor October, November, and December showed
three dominant defects, namely poorjoog, wrinkle, and marking on sheet. Further
analisisusing a control chart aims to show that the poorjoog, wrinkle, and marking
on sheet defects in FS A in October are classified as normal, while November and
December show abnormalities. In FS B, defects in October and November are
classified as normal, while December is already abnormal. In this final project
report, it then identifies the factors causing defects, including man, machine,
material, and method factors, and provides improvement solutions to minimize
these defects.
