Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Tanaman Jagung Manis (Zea Mays Saccharata Strut.) Dengan Pemberian Biourin Sapi Dan Pupuk K
ABSTRACT
The growth and yield of sweet corn plants were improved by administering cow
biourine and K fertilizer. This study aims to observe the effect of the interaction
of cow biourine and K fertilizer, the main effect of each and determine the best
combination. The study used factorial completely randomized design with two
factors. Factor I cow biourine consists of 3 levels (without cow biourine, 150 and
300 ml per plant). Factor II K fertilizer consists of 3 levels (without K fertilizer,
10 and 20 g.m-2). The results showed that the interaction of cow biourine at a dose
of 300 ml per plant and KCl fertilizer at a dose of 20 g.m-2 increased the stem
diameter and the diameter of the cob without husk, accelerated the emergence of
male and female flowers and harvest. Administration of cow biourine at a dose of
300 ml per plant accelerated the emergence of male and female flowers and
harvest, increased the stem diameter, the weight of cobs with and without husks
and the diameter of cobs without husks. The application of K fertilizer at a dose of
20 g.m-2 accelerates the emergence of male and female flowers and harvest,
increases the weight of cobs with and without husks and the diameter of cobs
without husks. A better combination to increase the growth and yield of sweet
corn plants is cow biourine at a dose of 300 ml per plant and KCl fertilizer at a
dose of 20 g.m-2.
