ABSTRACT
Jalan Ahmad Dahlan in Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru City, is one of the areas that often experience waterlogging during the rainy season. This is caused by various factors, such as changes in land use, garbage buildup, and sedimentation in drainage channels that hinder the flow of water. This study aims to evaluate the drainage performance on Jalan Ahmad Dahlan, Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru City, which often experiences inundation during rain. The evaluation was carried out by reviewing the channel dimensions, sedimentation levels, and infrastructure completeness based on primary and secondary data. The results of the analysis showed a decrease in channel function due to sedimentation and waste. The proposed solutions include channel dredging, routine cleaning, and channel dimension adjustment to be able to accommodate rainwater discharge optimally.
