Analisis Kandungan Mikroplastik Pada Udara Kawasan Industri Tenayan

ABSTRACT
Tenayan Industrial Estate has various anthropogenic activities such as industrial
and population activities, many activities can affect the amount of pollutants in the
air, one of which is microplastics. Microplastics can be distributed through the air
due to the influence of meteorological factors. This study aims to analyze the
abundance of microplastic particles in the air around the Tenayan Industrial Estate
based on the type and type of microplastic polymer. The air sampling method was
carried out by purposive sampling method which was carried out at three points
namely upwind, downwind, and central for 28 days, data observation was carried
out every 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th day microscopically to determine the amount of
abundance in each week. The results showed that the abundance of microplastics
was influenced by meterological factors, namely wind speed, with wind speed in
this area ranging from 1-2 m/s and a significance value of p-value
