Analisis Ketimpangan Distribusi Pendapatan Penduduk Di Kota Pekanbaru (Studi Kasus: Kecamatan Binawidya Dan Kecamatan Tuah Madani)

This research conducted in Binawidya District and Tuah Madani district
with the aim of determining and analyzing the inequality of income distribution of
the population in Binawidya District and Tuah Madani District and comparing
the inequality of income distribution of the population between Binawidya District
and Tuah Madani District.
The data processing technique uses gini ratio analysis, lorenz curve, world
bank size and independent sample t-test by using expenditure approach through
the Microsoft excel program.
The results of this research indicate that the analysis using the gini ratio is
still classified as low inequality both in Binawidya District and Tuah Madani
District where the gini ratio value in Binawidya District is 0,215 and Tuah
Madani District is 0,134. Based on the result of the analysis using the Lorenz
curve in Binawidya District and Tuah Madani District, it can be seen that the
distribution of population expenditure is increasingly even. Then based on world
bank’s measure of inequality in Binawidya District and Tuah Madani District
show low inequality. Based on independent sample t-test. tval (-0,304) < ttab
(2,100), then H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. When viewed from the probability
value, the p-value (0,764) > 0,05, then H0 is accepted so that it can be concluded
that there is no statistically significant difference between the average expenditure
of residents of Binawridya District and Tuah Madani District.
