This research is motivated by the occurrence of learning loss in learning, which results in less effective learning in school. The presence of the Merdeka Curriculum as a solution to educational problems provides learning for teachers to be better prepared to become educators who are better able to manage the classroom well, to increase student interest in learning, and student learning achievement through learning activities carried out at school. The research method used is quantitative. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation are distributed to teachers as teaching staff using saturated samples. The data was processed using the SEM PLS 4 Analysis test.
The research results show that the implementation of the independent curriculum so far has not had a significant effect on interest in learning, the implementation of the independent curriculum has not had a significant effect on learning achievement, the implementation of the independent curriculum has not had a significant effect on learning achievement through teacher interest and readiness for learning achievement has not had a significant effect through interest in learning. This is influenced by other factors in this research. Meanwhile, teacher readiness has a significant effect on students' interest in learning. This can be seen from the significance p-value of 0.030
