Sistem Agribisnis Cabai Merah (Capsicum Annuum L) Di Desa Danau Lancang Kecamatan Tapung Hulu Kabupaten Kampar

This agribusiness system research has the following objectives: (1) Describe the upstream subsystem (2) Analyze the farming subsystem (3) Analyze the downstream subsystem (4) Describe the supporting services subsystem. This research was carried out in Danau Lancang Village, Tapung Hulu District, Kampar Regency using a survey method. The technique for collecting respondents was carried out using simple random sampling with a sample of 30 farmers. The results of the research are: (1) The upstream subsystem, procurement of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and agricultural tools according to the six exact criteria is above 50 percent (2) The technical cultivation farming subsystem consists of land preparation, seeding, planting, maintenance, and harvesting. Total farming costs amounted to Rp.65.073.193,74/ha/MT, revenue amounted to Rp.181,154,280.44/ha/MT, and income amounted to Rp.116.081.086,70/ha/MT. (3) Downstream subsystem, the processing of results is not done by red chili farmers. The marketing channel consists of two channels, namely channel one from farmers to retailers to consumers, the second marketing from farmers to intermediary traders to retailers to consumers. The marketing margin of one is Rp.5,000.00/kg, in channel two it is Rp.10,000.00/kg. Profits in channel one, namely retail traders amounting to Rp.4,952.81/kg. Marketing channel two, collecting traders have a profit of Rp.1,910.00/kg. Retail traders get Rp.7,452.86/kg. The efficiency of channel one is 0.28 percent and 1.60 percent for marketing channel two. Farmer's share for channel one is 87.50 percent and 77.27 percent for channel two. (4) The supporting services subsystem consists of financial institutions, government policies, counseling, farmer groups and farmer group associations.
