ABSTRACT
Payakumbuh is a city rich in cultural and historical diversity, besides that it also has various tourist attractions, both natural, cultural and artificial. However, the condition of artificial tourism in Payakumbuh City, West Sumatra, shows that the government's attention to the development and maintenance of tourism facilities is still lacking. The educational tourism park in Payakumbuh is designed to provide an interactive and enjoyable learning experience for visitors. This design aims to create a space that not only functions as a place of recreation, but also as a means of education about the importance of environmental conservation. The biophilic architecture approach can be an effective solution to improve the quality of educational tourism in Payakumbuh and can also be a more effective and attractive educational forum for the community. Through this design, it is hoped that it can increase public awareness of the importance of protecting the environment and provide quality and sustainable tourism alternatives in Payakumbuh. This design is expected to be a reference for the development of educational tourism in other areas and support government programs in improving the tourism sector.
