Analisis Sistem Agribisnis Alpukat Di Nagari Giri Maju Kecamatan Luhak Nan Duo Kabupaten Pasaman Barat

ABSTRACT
This study aims to: (1) describe the production input subsystem, (2) analyze the production subsystem, (3) describe post-harvest processing, (4) analyze marketing, and (5) analyze the avocado agribusiness support subsystem in Nagari Giri Maju, West Pasaman Regency. Using a survey method with a qualitative and quantitative approach, 36 purposively selected sample farmers provided primary data, supplemented by secondary sources. Descriptive analysis was used for objectives 1, 3, and 5; cost analysis and Return Cost Ratio (R/C ratio) for objective 2; and margin analysis and marketing efficiency for objective 4.
The results showed that the procurement of inputs had fulfilled the six appropriate principles. The average production cost was 12,004,178/ha/year, with a yield of 4,734 kg/ha/year. Net income amounted to Rp 30,827,822/ha/year, and the R/C ratio of 3.6 showed profitability. Post-harvest handling includes sorting, grading, and value-added products such as avocado flour and bread by women's groups. Four marketing channels were identified, with varying numbers of intermediaries. Supporting institutions include farmer groups, extension workers, and government assistance.
