Pengaruh Pemberian Pupuk Bokashi Dan Pupuk Npk 16:16:16 Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Tanaman Okra (Abelmoschus Esculentus L.)
ABSTRACT
Okra is currently gaining popularity among the public. Okra plants are not yet widely cultivated in Riau Province, which results in low okra production. Consequently, okra cultivation has good potential due to increasing market demand. This research aims to determine the interaction effect of Bokashi fertilizer and NPK fertilizer application, as well as the main factors of each treatment, to obtain the best combination of Bokashi and NPK fertilizer application for the growth and yield of okra plants. This research was conducted from January 2025 to April 2025 at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau. This research was carried out experimentally using a factorial completely randomized design (CRD) with 12 treatment combinations and 3 replications, resulting in 36 experimental units. B0: Control, B1: Bokashi fertilizer 3 kg per plot, B2: Bokashi fertilizer 3.6 kg per plot, N0: Control, N1: NPK fertilizer 90 g per plot, N2: NPK fertilizer 135 g per plot, N3: NPK fertilizer 180 g per plot. The research results showed that the interaction between the application of bokashi fertilizer and NPK fertilizer had no significant effect on all observed parameters. The application of 300 kg/ha bokashi fertilizer had a significant effect only on the number of fruits per plot. The application of NPK fertilizer showed no significant differences in all observed parameters.
