Pemberian Pupuk Organik Cair Dan Pupuk Npkmg Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Tanaman Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.) Di Main Nursery
ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the interaction between the application of liquid organic fertilizer and NPK fertilizer, as well as to identify the single-factor effects of each treatment on the growth of oil palm seedlings (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) in the Main Nursery. The experimental design used two factors: the first was liquid organic fertilizer (O) at three levels (O1 = 6 ml/plant, O2 = 9 ml/plant, O3 = 12 ml/plant), and the second was NPKMg fertilizer (P) at three levels (P1 = 42 g/plant, P2 = 52.5 g/plant, P3 = 63 g/plant). Observed growth parameters included plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf length, root volume, and seedling dry weight. Data were analyzed statistically using analysis of variance (ANOVA), followed by a BNJ test at the 5% significance level using SAS software. Results showed that the interaction between liquid organic fertilizer and NPKMg significantly affected plant height from 3 to 7 months of age. Liquid organic fertilizer alone significantly influenced plant height, root volume, and seedling dry weight. NPKMg fertilizer significantly affected plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, root volume, and seedling dry weight. The best growth performance was observed with the combination of 12 ml/plant of liquid organic fertilizer and 63 g/plant of NPKMg fertilizer. This treatment provided the most optimal results in enhancing plant height growth, suggesting a synergistic effect between the two fertilizers in supporting oil palm seedling development in the nursery stage.
