Status Kesuburan Perairan Di Waduk Fakultas Perikanan Dan Kelautan Universitas Riau Berdasarkan Trhopic Index (Trix)

The Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, University of Riau reservoir gets water from the butterfly bridge and small ditches. However, in the area around the butterflybridge, manyhumanactivitiesprovide nutrientsto thewaterand asaresult affect the trophic status. To determine the trophic status based on the Trophic Index (TRIX), the study was conducted in February-March 2025. There were 3 sampling stations, namely Station 1 (inlet), Station 2 (middle part) and Station 3 (outlet). Sampling was carried out onc week. The water quality parameters measured were DIN (Dissolved Inorganic Nitrogen), total-P, dissolved oxygen, chlorophyll-a, tranparency, temperature and pH. The results shwn that the transparency value was 66.7-106.8 cm, temperature 25.5-25.8 °C, pH 6, total-P 0.13-0.19 mg/L, DIN 0.45-0.50 mg/L, chlorophyll-a 3.10-3.97 µg/L and oxygen saturation 57.17-68.93%. TRIX value ranged from 2 to 2.5 baredn value TRIX, it can be can cluded that the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, University of Riau is mesotrophic.
