Analisis Efisiensi Produksi Oksigen Pada Pemakaian Primary Filter Di Oxygen Plant 5 Dan Secondary Filter Di Oxygen Plant 1 Serta Pengaruh Differential Pressure Terhadap Kapasitas Produksi O2
ABSTRACT
Filters are important components in oxygen production systems, especially in the
pulp and paper industry, because they play a role in maintaining gas purity and
the stability of the production process. This study aims to analyze the efficiency of
primary and secondary filter usage and the effect of differential pressure on
oxygen production capacity, by considering maximum capacity data, average
daily production, and the lifetime of each filter. The analysis results show that the
primary filter has a daily production efficiency of 97.52% with a lifetime of 3
months, while the secondary filter has a daily production efficiency of 85.54% but
with a longer lifetime of 6 months. Although the daily efficiency of the primary
filter is higher, the secondary filter is considered superior in the long term
because it can reduce the frequency of replacement and reduce operational costs.
Thus, filter selection can be seen based on the overall service life and cost
effectiveness according to the efficiency standards of the oxygen production
system in the industry.
