ABSTRACT
The Simandolak II Irrigation Network is part of the Simandolak-Pangean Irrigation
Area located in Jalur Patah Village, Sentajo Raya Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi
Regency. This network utilizes the flow of the Batang Air Hitam River as its primary
source of irrigation water and covers an area of 690.10 hectares. The purpose of
this study is to analyze the performance of the physical infrastructure of the
irrigation network based on the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and
Public Housing No. 12/PRT/M/2015. The assessment method involved direct
surveys of the main structures, conveyance channels, structures along the channels,
and inspection roads. The evaluation results showed that out of a maximum
assessment weight of 36%, the Simandolak II Irrigation Network scored 29.04%,
which, when converted, amounts to 80.67%. Based on the classification system, this
score falls into the "Excellent" category, indicating that the physical infrastructure
of the irrigation network is still functioning optimally in supporting water
distribution. Routine technical monitoring is a strategic step that must be taken by
the managing agency to ensure the infrastructure remains in stable condition.
