Pelatihan Fisik Pada Atlet Tenis Lapangan Dalam Menghadapi Event Pomnas Xviii Kalimantan Selatan Tahun 2023

Abstract
This research is motivated by the problem of Exercises that can improve the
physical condition of tennis athletes in preparing for the XVIII POMNas in South
Kalimantan in 2023. This study aims to find out what physical exercises are carried
out by athletes in improving their physical condition to participate in the XVIII
POMNas event which will take place on November 12-22, 2023. This study uses an
observation method where the data collection technique uses documentation which is
a source of information needed by researchers. Furthermore, documentation can be
interpreted as a data collection technique through written materials. The results of
this study indicate that the physical training carried out by athletes before
participating in the XVIII POMNas event was able to improve the physical condition
of athletes when competing. So that at the XVII POMNas event Muhammad Iqbal and
Choififah Nanda Khairani who are students from the University of Riau won 3rd
place and received bronze medals.
