Analisis Prediksi Kebangkrutan Dengan Menggunakan Metode Altman Z-Score Pada Perusahaan Manufaktur Sub Industri Material Konstruksi Yang Terdaftar Di Bursa Efek Indonesia
This study aims to analyze the potential for bankruptcy in manufacturing companies within the construction materials sub-industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) using the Altman Z-Score method. The analysis was conducted on ten companies during the observation period from 2021 to 2023, based on five financial ratios: working capital to total assets (X1), retained earnings to total assets (X2), EBIT to total assets (X3), market value of equity to total liabilities (X4), and sales to total assets (X5). The data utilized in this study are secondary data in the form of financial statements and annual reports, analyzed using a descriptive quantitative approach. The results indicate that in 2021, three companies were classified as healthy, two were in the gray zone, and five were at risk of bankruptcy. In 2022, the number of healthy companies remained at three, one company was in the gray zone, and six were at risk of bankruptcy. In 2023, only two companies remained healthy, one was in the gray zone, and seven were identified as being at risk of bankruptcy. These findings reveal a declining trend in the financial condition of companies in the construction materials sub-industry over the past three years. The results of this research are expected to provide valuable insights for company management and investors in making strategic decisions related to financial stability.
