Pengembangan E-Modul Berbasis Sets Pada Materi Ekologi Dan Keanekaragaman Hayati Indonesia Untuk Meningkatkan Literasi Lingkungan Dan Hasil Belajar Siswa Smp
This research is motivated by the demands of 21st-century education, which requires mastery of critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity skills (4Cs), as well as proficiency in information technology. The Merdeka Curriculum (Independent Curriculum) emerged as a solution to create adaptive, contextual, and meaningful learning—one of which is through the strengthening of environmental literacy. However, preliminary research results indicate students’ low understanding of environmental issues and the limited application of approaches that integrate science, environment, technology, and society (SETS) by science teachers. Ecology and biodiversity materials are among the important topics but are relatively difficult for students to understand, as shown by low mastery levels. The SETS approach is considered effective in enhancing understanding and environmental literacy because it connects science learning with real-life contexts. Along with technological advancements, the development of SETS-based e-modules has become one of the alternative solutions for creating interactive and meaningful learning. Therefore, this study focuses on developing a SETS-based e-module on ecology and biodiversity materials to improve environmental literacy and learning outcomes of junior high school students.....
