Pengaruh Berbagai Dosis Biochar Sekam Padi Dengan Pupuk Npk Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Jagung (Zea Mays L.)
ABSTRACT
Providing organic materials such as rice husk biochar can improve soil quality and increase the availability of nutrients that plant roots can absorb. Providing organic materials with NPK fertilization will increase the availability of N, P and K in the soil. This study aims to determine the effect of the combination of rice husk biochar with NPK fertilizer and get the best dose combination on the growth and production of corn plants. The research conducted experimentally with a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of seven treatments and three replications. The treatments tested were P0: biochar 0 t/ha + NPK 300 kg/ha, P1: biochar 2 t/ha + NPK 100 kg/ha, P2: biochar 2 t/ha + NPK 200 kg/ha, P3: biochar 2 t/ha + NPK 300 kg/ha, P4: biochar 4 t/ha + NPK 100 kg/ha, P5: biochar 4 t/ha + NPK 200 kg/ha, and P6: biochar 4 t/ha + NPK 300 kg/ha. The results showed that the combination of rice husk biochar 4 t/ha with NPK fertilizer 300 kg/ha was the best treatment combination because it was able to increase plant height, leaf width, leaf length, stem diameter, production weight per hectare, cob diameter, cob length, number of rows of seeds per cob, number of seeds per row, weight of 1000 seeds and dry snacks per hectare.
