Analisis Exergy Gas Engine Unit 01 Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Biogas Kapasitas 835 Kw Pada Pt. Ramajaya Pramukti
Energy sustainability is the world's major attention at this time. Many attempts were made in order to save the continuity of the energy. One of them by using renewable energy sources and by improving the energy efficiency of the system is an important option for future energy sustainability. In biogas power plants exergy analysis is very important to be applied, with this analysis, we can know the location of a decrease in performance of the gas engine with many cylinders. It may become a reference in taking steps that need to improve the system systematically and efficiently. The aim of this study was to analyze the exergy destruction and identified the location with the largest exergy destruction in gas engine unit 01 biogas power plant PT. Ramajaya Pramukti. From the result obtained the location with the largest exergy destruction was the 2nd state (combustion process) 1521,56 kW, followed by 4th state (exhaust process) 384,85 kW, state 3 (expansion process) 362,68 kW and the lowest was the 1st state (compression process) 131,11 kW. The largest exergetic efficiency value occurred in the first period on 11th cylinder (24,31%) and the smallest in the second period on 7th cylinder and 15th cylinder (23,49 and 23,50%). State 2 (combustion process) was the location of the largest exergy destruction on gas engine unit 01 Biogas Power Plant PT. Ramajaya Pramukti.
