Hubungan Kepercayaan Diri Dengan Kebutuhan Afiliasi Mahasiswa Angkatan 2016 PG PAUD Fakultas Keguruan Dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Riau

The aim of this research is to know whether there is levels and correlation between self confidence and need of affiliation of student of class of 2016 PG PAUD Faculty of Teachers Training and Education University of Riau. The samples of this research is PG PAUD Faculty of Teachers Training and Education University of Riau that consists of 79 students. Method of this research is Pearson Product Moment correlation to know the correlation between Self Confidence and Need of Affiliation. The technique of collecting data used questioner in Likert scale form. The technique of analyzing data used scale test and statistic analytical. Based of this research there is level of self confidence in the medium category with the percentage 68,19% and the level of need of affiliation in the high category with the percentage 67,85%. Based of hypothesis there is any significant positive correlation between self confidence and need of affiliation of PG PAUD Faculty of Teachers Training and Education University of Riau. It could be seen from the result of correlation coefficient that rxy = 0,421 and significant level is 0,000 < 0,05. The level of correlation between self confidence and need of affiliation of PG PAUD students is in the medium category with the rank of determinant coefficient in the amount of KD = r² x 100% = 17,72%, it means that self confidence affect need of affiliation as much as 17,72%.
