Perancangan Terminal Angkutan Antar Kota Dalam Provinsi Tipe B Dengan Pendekatan Arsitektur Neo-Vernakular Di Pekanbaru

The Pekanbaru City Government has developed a plan for the city's growth as center of trade and services, influencing various aspects of society such as the conomy, social, culture, and more. Urban spatial planning policies are closely elated to transportation policies, which form the physical network connecting ifferent spaces. The availability of adequate public facilities is key to the ommunity's economic development. The Bandar Raya Payung Sekaki Pekanbaru erminal Type A has replaced the Mayang Terurai Terminal Type B, but this erminal is not connected to other transportation hubs, creating an ineffective and nefficient transportation system. Therefore, a Type B terminal serving a smaller cale than the existing Type A terminal is needed. The design of this Inter-City ransport Terminal Type B uses an approach that supports the Pekanbaru City overnment's efforts to preserve Malay culture while keeping up with modern evelopments, namely Neo-Vernacular Architecture. The Pattern-Based ramework method is used for decision-making in design related to both formal nd non-formal factors. This framework focuses on observing existing typological atterns to produce something new. The Neo-Vernacular architectural approach in his design will create an urban transportation system that showcases regional haracteristics by combining aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability to create n innovative design that attracts tourists from various regions and keeps up with odern times.
