Implementasi Certainty Factor Dalam Sistem Pakar Untuk Mendiagnosa Hama Dan Penyakit Pada Tanaman Nanas
Indonesia is an agricultural country with a horticultural sector that contributes significantly to the national economy. One of the leading commodities is pineapple (Ananas comosus L. Merr.) which has great potential as an export commodity. However, pineapple production faces the challenge of pest and disease attacks that can reduce the quality and quantity of yields. To overcome this problem, technology-based solutions are needed to assist farmers in diagnosis quickly and accurately. This research aims to develop a web-based expert system to diagnose pests and diseases in pineapple using the Certainty Factor (CF) method. The CF method was chosen because of its ability to handle uncertainty in the diagnosis process by providing a level of confidence in the idenfitication results. The system was built using bootstrap framework with PHP programming language and mySQL database. System design using Unified Modeling Language (UML) which includes : Usecase Diagram, Class Diagram, Activity Diagram, Sequence Diagram. System testing using blackbox testing. The results showed that the CF method can be applied effectivelty to diagnose 20 types of pests and diseases and 54 symptoms on pineapple. The implementation of this system was expected to help farmers increase productivity and harvest quality through early detection of pineapple diseases.
