ABSTRACT
The research aims to analyze the stability of the slope at the Derofizha Permata
Indrapuri Pekanbaru Housing site to obtain the Safety Factor value, The safety
factor is an important consideration in the stability of slopes or embankments. The
stability of a slope is a crucial factor in work that involves excavation,
earthworkers, rocks, and mineral materials. The results of this study are comparing
the Janbu Method with the Limit Equilibrium Method using Slope / W Software, in
the janbu method there are 10 unsafe points at a height of 2.73 m, 3 m to 4.8 m
resulting in a Safety Factor Value as follows: Safety Factor Value FS 0.81, FS 0.77
to FS 0.37. While for Slope/W Software there are 3 unsafe points, namely at a height
of 4.04 m, 4.6 m, and a height of 4.8m with a Safety Factor of FS 0.98, FS 1.064,
and FS 1.068.
