This research is based on the results of information obtained from one of the PKn teachers at MTs Muhammadiyah Lubuk Jambi, the indication is that the teacher does not use learning media optimally during the learning process but only relies on power point (PPT) media. So that students become less interested and less proficient in the material, and pay less attention to teachers in the learning process. One of the factors in the low learning outcomes of students is that they are still less creative when using the learning media displayed so that students feel a lack of interest in learning students to master the material, and observed from the learning outcomes of students only some get good grades and there are some students who do not, where there has been an increase in some students and some do not, there are many ways that can be developed to improve student learning outcomes, one way that can be applied is learning media that is appropriate in the learning process, namely powtoon-based animation learning media.
Powtoon can be used to create interactive learning experiences and invite students to participate. A teacher acts as a model who oversees the teaching and learning process in the classroom and is expected to produce a more creative and interactive learning atmosphere innovative. The goal is to motivate students to optimize learning. The success of the learning process can be measured by the high activity in teacher-student interactions so that it can produce significant learning outcomes. There are several ways that teachers Also in this study using the NGain test above, a score of 0.5075 was obtained for the experimental class in the moderate category, while for the control class the score was -0.0420 in the poor category. So, the experimental class has a medium category than the control class. So it is concluded that the application of influential Powtoon-based learning media is in the category of being used to improve student learning outcomes rather than using the lecture method.can apply to create a creative learning environment, namely through the use of learning media that have appeal. (Fanky Kresnandya, 2018:28).
The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an influence of the application of Powtoon-based learning media on the learning outcomes of PKn class VIII students of MTs Muhammadiyah Lubuk Jambi Kuantan Singingi. The purpose of the study was to determine the influence of powtoon learning media on the learning outcomes of students of MTs Muhammadiyah Lubuk Jambi Kuantan Singingi. The benefits of this study are as a reference, a learning reference to develop learning media according to the criteria and learning materials at that time, and for the development of learning media that vary with appropriate innovations.
The research method used is quantitative. Quantitative method is a dominant research on data of a number using a measuring instrument that has been determined. The type of research is an experiment, a method used to determine the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable where the sample used 2 classes that were determined where both classes were subjected to different experiments. Also, the research design used is Pretest and Posttest Control Group. The population in this study was class VIII MTs Muhammadiyah Lubuk Jambi which amounted to 105 students and the sample in the study amounted to 50 students, namely from class VIII 1 and VIII 2. Data collection techniques using tests, observations, and documentation.
Powtoon-Based Learning Media has an effect on the learning outcomes of Civics students of class VIII MTs Muhammadiyah Lubuk Jambi Kuantan Singingi.

Where it is proven from the results of the independent sample T-Test above, the t_count value is obtained = 4.425 to determine df with the n-2 formula. The sample of this study is 50, so df = 50-2 = 48. So from df 48 at a significance level of 5%, t_table = 1.677 is obtained. It can be concluded that the hypothesis in this study is accepted, namely t_count> t_table (H_a is accepted).
