Pengaruh Media Eksperimen The Physics Classroom Terhadap Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa Kelas X Pada Materi Momentum Dan Impuls Di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru
Less effective use of learning media resulted in students being less active in the learning process resulting in poor learning outcomes. Abstract concepts often make teachers have difficulty in conveying subject matter, especially momentum and impulse material. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in cognitive learning outcomes in classes that applied learning using experimental media the Physics Classroom as an experimental class and classes that applied conventional learning as a control class on momentum and impulse materials. This type of research is quantitative with Quasi Experimental research methods and research design Nonequivalent Post-test Only Control Group Design which is located at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. Cognitive learning outcomes test consists of 20 multiple choice questions based on cognitive level according to Bloom's taxonomy. Based on the analysis of research results using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis, it was found that the cognitive learning outcomes of class X students in classes that applied learning using experimental media the Physics Classroom on momentum and impulse materials were higher than in classes that applied conventional learning, and there were differences. significant difference between classes that apply learning using experimental media the Physics Classroom and classes that apply conventional learning. Based on the research, it can be concluded that the use of the Physics Classroom experimental media has an influence on students' cognitive learning outcomes on momentum and impulse materials.
