Pembuatan Reaktor Pirolisis Plastik Skala Laboratorium Untuk Produksi Bahan Bakar Cair
ABSTRACT
Pyrolysis is a process of thermo chemical decomposition of solid materials into solid, liquid and gaseous forms through endothermic reactions. Therefore, the design of a pyrolysis reactor is very important so that the pyrolysis temperature can be reached so that products that can be used are formed, including charcoal, bio-oil, and flamable gas. The life of modern humans depends on the energy used to fulfill their needs and desires. The majority of this energy is met from fossil-based resources. Petroleum as a source has been processed for energy (42%), transportation fuel (45%), plastic production (4%), petrochemical industry raw materials (4%), and others (5%) [1] . On the other hand, these resources include non-renewable resources whose reserves are currently running low while their needs are increasing. This encourages scientists to look for other alternative sources so that there is no chaos in human life for this energy reason.
