Pengaruh Clearance Punch Dan Dies Terhadap Hasil Pembuatan Scrap Stain Menggunakan Mesin Pelubang Dan Penekuk Pelat
ABSTRACT
The combination punching machine and plate bending machine is a machine that belongs to the press type with the use of punches and dies to make holes or bends. In the product manufacturing process, blanking and punching processes are used to produce sheet metal according to production, industrial and household needs. Blanking is a process of cutting metal in sheet form by punching holes in the material with the help of a press (punch) and mold (die). In the process of blanking the shape of the workpiece (product), which is produced in the form of scrap stain, this form is the simplest and easy to measure and observe. Burr (sharp angle on the cutting edge of the sheet) is one of the characteristics of the cut on the workpiece (product) formed in the blanking process, these characteristics are influenced by the type of material, clearance, sharpness and shape of the punch tool. Burrs that occur as a result of cutting the punch knife are the impacts resulting from determining the clearance that is too large. The resulting burr height is in the form of sharp shapes that are spread on the sides of the fracture. In this study the blanking process used stainless steel sheet plates with a thickness of 0.2 mm. There are two punching tools used, namely punch A and punch B. The materials for the punch and dies use S 45 C steel. The clearances for the punches and dies used are 6% and 10%.
