ABSTRACT
As micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) develop, especially wood craftsmen in the Pekanbaru area, production still encounters several obstacles, it takes quite a long time to make a craft manually, while market demand is getting higher. In the past, the use of conventional machines was very helpful in the manufacturing process. However, with the increasing demand and need for products that are more precise and capable of being produced in large quantities, machine tools have been developed that can be operated using a computerized system, or better known as a CNC machine (CNC machine).Computer Numerical Control). The purpose of this research is to design a machineRouter 3 axis CNC for wood materials to make it easier for wood craftsmen to work so that the results obtained are maximized, both in terms of precision, the number of items produced, and fast processing time.Machine design is carried out based on a series of processes starting from collecting data and information about the machine desired by the community by using the method Quality Function Deployment (QFD) and Methods Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) until finally the engine design was made Router Optimal fit 3 axis CNC.
