Analisis Faktor Risiko Lingkungan Rumah Dengan Kejadian Tuberkulosis Paru Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Harapan Raya Pekanbaru

The number of Tuberculosis patients in Indonesia is the third ranked in the world. The
high number of TB cases in the world is caused by some of home risk factor. They are the
density of inhabitants, lighting, the ventilation and the humidity which are below the standart of
healthy house. Puskesmas Harapan Raya Pekanbaru is one of Puskesmas that has a high number
of lung TB cases. The purpose of this study is to find the risk factors of home environmental
associated with lung TB incidence in the working area of Puskesmas Harapan Raya Pekanbaru.
This kind of research is the case control analytical conducted in December 2009. The results
showed the risk factors of home environmental associated with lung TB incidence is the
bedroom density (p=0.023, OR=4.694), bedroom lighting (p= 0.023, OR= 4.694), bedroom
ventilation (p=0.022, OR=4.800) and the bedroom humidity (p=0.009, OR=6.429).
