Respons Pembentukan Tunas Dengan Penambahan Bap Dan Kinetin Dari Eksplan Bonggol Pisang Tanduk (Musa Corniculata Lour.) Secara In Vitro
Pisang tanduk (Musa corniculata Lour.) have a privilege that fruits are large with
a long shape and curved like a horn. Another advantage of this pisang tanduk is
high fiber content of 2,3 g/100 g of banana compared with that pisang kepok of
0,1 g/100 g banana. Vegetative propagation is usually used hump. The use of
this corm banana can only produce new plants in limited quantities with a
relatively long time. Given the economic values of pisang tanduk should be
conducted in vitro propagation. This study aims to determine the concentration of
BAP and kinetin combination with the pisang tanduk bud shoot formation. This
research was conducted at the Laboratory of Integrated Biology Department of
Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. This study uses a
randomized complete block design (RCB) with treatment provision BAP
concentration (4; 6; 8 mg/l) and the combination of BAP and kinetin (4 mg/l BAP
+0,4 mg/l kinetin; 4 mg/l BAP+1,0 mg/l kinetin; 6 mg/l BAP+0,4 mg/l kinetin; 6
mg/l BAP+1,0 mg/l kinetin; 8 mg/l BAP+0,4 mg/l kinetin; 8 mg/l BAP+1,0 mg/l
kinetin) on MS medium with 5 replications. The results that showed the addition
of BAP and kinetin combination with giving the best results on the percentage of
live explants and shoots formation at 100%. Treatments of 6 mg/l BAP+1,0 mg/l
kinetin give best results when shhots emerge, the number of shoots and shoot
length, respectively 10,40 days after planting, 5,80 shoots and 5,64 cm.
