Peran Koperasi Unit Desa (Kud) Dalam Meningkatkan Kesejahteraan Petani Sawit (Peserta Pir) Di Kecamatan Kampa Kabupaten Kampar

This study aims to find out what the role of KUD to improving the welfare of PIR participants in the kampar district. The data in this study uses primary and secondary data. The method use is a qualitative descriptive approach analysis method where all data collected, interpreted and then connected with theories related to problems from literature study. The results of research conducted us, the role of (KUD) plays an important role in improving the welfare of palm oil farmers in the (PIR participants). The role of (KUD) can be income received by farmers who are inseparable from KUD assistance in increasing production yields so that income also increases. Based on the number of respondents' net income which is calculated using the formula that is the most income received by farmers is Rp. 163,330,000 and the lowest amount of income is Rp. 45,350,000. Farmers' welfare can also be seen from the ability of farmers to provide the highest education for their children, as well as the health that is maintained due to adequate nutrition and vitamins to maintain a healthy body of both farmers and families. Based on the amount of fees for children's education issued by respondents, it is known that the largest amount is Rp.34,800,000 and the smallest amount is Rp.1,200,000. Based on the amount of health costs incurred by respondents, it is known that the largest amount is Rp.21,600,000, and the lowest amount is Rp.480,000.
