Smooth motor skills are Changes in the ability of a person's motion and behavior from infancy to adulthood associated with muscles, brain, nerves that involve aspects of motor skills that affect each other. The background in this study is the lack of fine motor skills of children at the time of learning activities in Post PAUD Karya Bakti, so the authors are interested to do embroidery activities as an effort to improve the fine motor skills of children. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether embroidery activities can improve fine motor skills in children aged 5-6 years in Post Paud Karya Bakti District Bantan Bengkalis. This study aims to determine how much improvement of fine motor skills of children after doing embroidery activities. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle consists of several stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research are 6 boys and 4 daughters of Pos Paud Karya Bakti. Data is taken from the evaluation at each end of the cycle. The study time was from February to June of 2017. The study involved one peer or teacher as an observer. Based on the data from the percentage results obtained an increase in the cycle I is 46.78% and an increase in cycle II 73.92%. So it can be concluded that by means of embroidery activities can improve fine motor skills in children aged 5-6 years in Post Paud Karya Bakti Bantan District Bengkalis District .
