This research is dilator by the low listening ability of children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Insan Rokan Cemerlang. Based on the observation of the researchers in PAUD Insan Rokan Cemerlang on the ability to listen to children is still below the standard, some children still have difficulty listening when the teacher explained in front of the classroom during the learning process is underway. This is because learning listening in PAUD Insan Rokan Cemerlang Tanah Putih District Rokan Hilir Regency has not received more attention and not optimal. In addition, the media used in the learning process is still not varied and minimal. Some fixtures like reading books are limited and only a few children have story books. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the method of learning with the media can produce the ability to listen to children on the aspect of vocabulary in Paud Insan Rokan Cemerlang Tanah Putih District Rokan Hilir Regency. This study is a classroom action research (PTK) conducted in February - April 2017. The subject of this study is 4-5 years old child 12 people consisting of 4 men and 8 women. Based on the recapitulation of the listening ability of children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Insan Rokan Cemerlang during cycle, cycle I and cycle II, the average before the cycle is 33.33% with the criteria Start Develop (MB) and in the first cycle I is 55.55% with Exponential Developing Criteria (BSH) while in cycle II the average is 71.99% with the criteria of Expectant Expectations (BSH). Thus it can be concluded that apply the ability to listen to children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Insan Rokan Cemerlang Tanah Putih District Rokan Hilir Regency.
