Nilai Ekonomi Potensi Jasa Lingkungan Menyerap Karbon Di Taman Wisata Alam Buluh Cina Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau

Forests are the most dominant area in composing the role of environmental services. One of the forest environmental services is carbon sequestration services. Forests play an important role in climate change, namely as carbon sinks (sinks) and carbon storage (stock). Nature Tourism Park (TWA) is one of the ecosystems that becomes CO2 storage and absorbent. The study was conducted for 3 (three) months at TWA Buluh Cina. This study aims to determine the potential of environmental services to absorb carbon, the economic value of environmental services to absorb carbon, and the role of government and society in the management of TWA Buluh Cina. The research approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with survey methods. The results showed that the potential for environmental services to absorb above ground carbon in Overwrought TWA Buluh Cina was 69,153 tons / ha or 66,617.16 tons when extrapolated to the total breadth of TWA Buluh Cina. Furthermore, the results of the calculation using the benefit transfer method for the economic value of carbon absorbing services in the TWA Buluh Cina are Rp.15.476.332,-ton/ha and Rp.14.976.079.558,- for total area. For the role of government and society, those who play a role in the management of TWA Buluh Cina are 1) BBKSDA Riau, 2) Ninik Mamak Buluh Cina Village, 3) Buluh Cina Village Government, and 4) Buluh Cina Village Communities. The role of BBKSDA Riau and Ninik Mamak has a strong influence in carrying out their roles in forest management.
