Penerapan Konsep Value For Money Dalam Mengukur Program Dan Kegiatan Dinas Ketahanan Pangan Dan Pertanian Kota Dumai Tahun 2018

This study aims to find out how the Department of Food and Agriculture in Dumai City in 2018 in carrying out its Programs and Work Activities is based on performance measurement using the Value for Money concept.
This type of research is descriptive. This study seeks to describe the real picture of the phenomena that occur in particular the application of the Value For Money concept in measuring the programs and work activities of the Dumai City Food and Agriculture Service Office in 2018. The research was conducted at the Dumai City Food and Agriculture Service Office in January to February of the year 2019. The population in this study were all Chairmen and Secretaries of Farmers Groups fostered by the Dumai City Food and Agriculture Service Office in 2018, amounting to 66 people from 33 farmer groups under the Dumai City Food and Agriculture Service Office in 2018. The sampling method used the census method. Data analysis techniques use the concept of value-based-based concepts that focus on the 3E principle: Economical, Efficiency and Effectiveness.
The research results show that all Work Programs and Activities carried out by the Dumai City Food and Agriculture Service Office in 2018 based on the results of performance measurement based on the Value For Money concept are already economical in using the budget for input expenditure, efficient in producing outputs, and quite effective in achieving organization goals. This is supported by the high level of satisfaction of farmers as beneficiaries of the programs and activities obtained from the questionnaire distributed.
