Kerjasama Indonesia Dan Malaysia Dalam Mengatasi Illegal Fishing Di Selat Malaka
aims to explain the Cooperation between Indonesia and Malaysia in Overcoming Illegal Fishing in the Indonesian Waters Region in 2014-2018 (Case Study in the Malacca Strait). The dynamics of international politics and security in the current era of globalization have not only been dominated by issues of high politics, such as conflicts between countries or the issue of nuclear proliferation, but also various issues relating to extraordinary crimes (extra ordinary crime) which include, among others, terrorism,human trafficking, money laundering, and illegal fishing. Research data obtained from books,journals, official documents, thesis and website. The researcher uses the perspective of pluralism and analyzes the role of international organizations. The research method used is qualitative data obtained from the literature relating to the research topic. The results of this study indicate that there are several efforts undertaken by Indonesia and Malaysia in this fisheries cooperation, some of them are stipulations of the Decree of the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of Indonesia regarding the application of the Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries.
