The rapid growth of the forestry industry has led to the availability of these wood raw materials, so there is a need to substitute alternative wood raw materials that are easily available, one of which is Palm Oil (KKS). The problem is how to manage oil palm wood in the wood industry and maintain its durability, this study aims to examine the physical properties of oil palm wood (KKS) with 5 types of testing, namely testing the water content, density, shrinkage, resistance to beetles powder and KKS attack resistance to fungi. Tests refer to SNI Standards and British Standards, the highest value of water content in the stem is 1.82 (g / cm) in the KD-1 sample, the highest moisture content in the outer stem is 1.04 (g / cm) in the sample KL-4, the KKS density value obtained the highest value on the inside is 0.526 g / cm³ in the KD-4 sample. While the highest value on the outside is 0.629 g / cm³ in the KL-1 sample. the development of the highest average value in the interior is 4,339% in the TD-2 sample. While the highest value on the outside is 5.104% in the TL-2 sample. Depreciation of the highest average value in the interior is 13,300% in the TD-2 sample. While the highest value on the outside is 10,600% in the TL-2 sample. The fungus attack on the PSC only 0% concentration experienced mushrooming, the attack of the powder beetle on the PSC 30 powder beetles died while 48 hours at a concentration of 0.5%, 0.8% and 1%, while at a concentration of 0% remaining 15 were alive. the test is complete then the KKS is made a door product with a layer of HPL (High Preassure Laminate) using meranti wood frames and KKS door leaf.
