ABSTRACK
Pekanbaru is one of the metropolitan cities on the island of Sumatra. In 2014
Pekanbaru was named the city with the best investment destination in Indonesia,
this is supported by a fairly high level of development, economy and population
growth. Therefore a facility is needed to accommodate these activities, one of
which is a commercial building that combines the functions of commercial,
consumption and recreational activities into one, namely a shopping facility or
Shopping Center. The high level of development has triggered the high level of
land construction in the city of Pekanbaru, which has the potential to shift the
existence of green open spaces. Therefore, the choice of the building concept
chosen is the semi outdoor mall concept or "Garden Mall" which will be
combined with the application of the "Biophilik" theme so that it is able to make a
building that is friendly to the surrounding environment and creates more green
open spaces in it.
