Pengaruh Pemberian Pupuk Kascing Dan Npk Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Okra (Abelmoschus Esculentus L Moench )
ABSTRACT
Okra (Albemoschus esculentus L Moench) is a horticultural commodity which is better known as Arabica beans or lady fingers. Every 100 g okra contains 90 g of water, 2 g proteins, 7 g carbohydrates, and 1 g fiber with the total energy of 31 calories. Inceptisol with its problems through good management can be utilized in okra cultivation by providing inputs of organic and inorganic matters. Organic and inorganic matters have been using are vermicompost and NPK fertilizers. This research was carried out experimentally with 4x3 factorials arranged according to RAL. The first factor is the dose of vermicompost : P0 : without vermicompost, P1 : 5 ton.ha-1, P2 : 10 ton.ha-1, P3: 15 ton.ha-1. The second factor is the dose of NPK fertilizer: N0 : without NPK fertilizer, N1 : 62,5 kg.ha-1, N2 : 125 kg.ha-1. The results showed that the interaction of vermicompost and NPK fertilizer not increasing the growth and production of okra. Application of vermicompost can increasing plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, number of fruit per plant, fruit length, fruit weight per plant and fruit weight per plot. Application of NPK fertilizer can increasing plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, number of fruits, fruit length, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight pe plot and accelerate the age of flowering. The application of vermicompost 15 ton.ha-1 combined NPK fertilizer 62,5 kg.ha-1 and 125 kg.ha-1 can provide the best result on the growth and production of okra.
