Pengaruh Pemangkasan Tunas Apikal Dan Pupuk Npk Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Okra (Abelmoschus Esculentus (L.) Moench)

ABSTRACT
Okra plants are difficult to branch so that the production is not much, it is necessary to do better cultivation techniques, namely apical shoot pruning techniques and NPK fertilizer which has macro and micro nutrients. This study aimed to see the effect of the interaction of apical shoot pruning time and NPK fertilizer on growth and production and to obtain the best apical shoot pruning time and dose of NPK to increase growth and production. This study uses a factorial experiment consisting of 2 factors. Factor I is the time of pruning the apical shoots, without pruning, the time of pruning the apical shoots 20 days after planting and the time of pruning the apical shoots 40 days after planting. Factor II is NPK Grower 5 g, 7,5 10 g and 12,5 g. The results showed that the interaction of pruning apical shoots and NPK fertilizer had a significant effect on the number of branches, flowering age, plant fresh weight, fruit diameter and fruit weight per square meter, but had no significant effect on stem diameter, plant dry weight, number of fruit, length fruit, weight per fruit and fruit weight per plant. The apical shoot pruning factor 20 days after planting gave the best results on stem diameter, number of branches, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, fruit length, fruit weight per fruit and fruit weight per meter square. The NPK fertilizer factor of 7,5 g per plant gives the best results on the number of fruits per plant, fruit length, fruit weight per plant and fruit weight per square meter
